The Art of Style Writing: My Graffiti Journey
My style writing, rooted in the essence of graffiti, serves as a unique form of artistic expression that transforms letters into vibrant logos on walls. Heavily influenced by the dynamic New York style, my work draws inspiration from the legendary subway graffiti of the 1970s and 1980s. Artists like DONDY and ZEPHYR have profoundly impacted my approach, as well as more modern influences such as DMOTE, JURNE & of course, my crew mates CHINA, POISON, STAE2 and CUBA.
If I were to describe my style, I would say it embodies a biomechanical aesthetic—blocky and bold yet articulate. This fusion of influences allows me to create pieces that not only convey my message but also capture the essence of graffiti as a living art form. Through each piece, I strive to push the boundaries of style writing, celebrating the rich history of graffiti while infusing it with my own creative vision.
Characters and Letters: The Fusion of My Artistic World
From the very start of my artistic journey, I’ve been captivated by comics and skateboard art. These influences fueled my passion for character creation and painting, which became a key part of my style. After taking a hiatus from graffiti, my comeback to the walls began with painting only characters. It allowed me to dive deeper into storytelling through art. However, after a transformative trip to New York, I returned to my roots—painting letters alongside characters, blending both elements into cohesive, dynamic pieces. The fusion of letters and characters now defines my creative expression, honoring my early influences while evolving into something distinctly my own.
